Intelligent Water Monitoring

See every tank, sump, borewell and meter on one screen. Real-time level, flow and pump data stops overflows and dry runs, finds leaks while they are still small and shows exactly where your water goes.

Every litre measured, every loss visible

Less water lost

Find leaks, overflows and running taps within hours instead of at the end of the month’s bill.

Lower pumping energy

Run pumps only when tanks need water, and stop them the moment tanks are full.

Protected pumps

Dry-run and low-level cut-offs stop pumps from running without water and burning out.

No manual rounds

No more climbing to rooftops or reading meters by hand: levels and readings arrive on their own.

Why it matters

You can’t manage water you can’t see

Most sites still run their water by guesswork. Someone checks the tanks, a pump is switched on by hand, and the first sign of a problem is an overflowing roof tank, a burnt-out pump or an unusually high bill.

Water also moves through many places at once: municipal inlets, borewells, sumps, overhead tanks, process lines and cooling towers. Without measurement at each point, it is impossible to tell normal use from waste.

Intelligent water monitoring puts a sensor at each of those points and brings the readings together, so levels, flows and pump status are visible in real time from anywhere.

What it monitors

Every part of your water system

Pick the measurements you need today and add more later on the same platform.

Tank & sump level

Non-contact radar or ultrasonic sensors read overhead tanks, sumps, wells and reservoirs continuously.

Flow & consumption

Electromagnetic, ultrasonic and pulse-output meters measure flow and totalised use per inlet, block or process.

Pump status

Run hours, starts, schedules and dry-run trips for borewell, transfer and booster pumps.

Line pressure

Pressure transmitters show low pressure at the far end of the network and bursts or blockages.

Water quality

pH, TDS, turbidity and residual chlorine for drinking water, process water and treated effluent.

Leaks & overflows

Night-flow analysis and high-level alarms catch hidden leaks and overflowing tanks early.

Hourly water flow over 24 hours: during the night flow stays at 1.8 cubic metres per hour instead of near zero, which shows a likely leak
Leak detection

Find hidden leaks from night-time flow

When a site is closed, water use should fall close to zero. If the main meter still shows steady flow at 2 a.m., something is running that shouldn’t be: a leaking pipe, a stuck float valve or a tap left open.

The system learns each site’s normal hourly profile and tracks its minimum night flow. When night flow rises above the baseline, or a tank keeps filling without any matching use, you get an alert that points to where to look.

Solution highlights

Built for buildings, campuses and plants

One dashboard for every site

Levels, flows, pumps and alarms for all tanks and buildings in a single web and mobile view.

Automatic pump control

Start and stop pumps on tank level or schedule, with dry-run and low-sump lockouts.

Instant alerts

High and low level, overflow, leak, dry-run and no-flow alarms by SMS, email and app.

Consumption reports

Daily, monthly and per-zone reports for billing, audits and water-saving targets.

Works with existing meters

Connect pulse and Modbus RS485 meters you already have, and add new sensors where needed.

Wireless where cables can’t go

LoRa and 4G links reach rooftop tanks, remote borewells and pump houses without new cabling.

Water dashboard

Levels, consumption and pumps at a glance

The dashboard shows the live level of every tank, the status of every pump and how much water each building or process used today, this week and this month.

Unusual days stand out immediately. A jump in consumption, a sump that won’t refill or a pump that keeps tripping is flagged with the reading behind it, so the team knows what to check before they leave the control room.

How it works

From sensor to action in four steps

1. Measure

Level sensors, meters and pressure transmitters are fitted on tanks and pipelines.

2. Connect

Readings travel over Modbus, LoRa or 4G to SCADA or the cloud.

3. Analyse

Levels, flows and usage profiles are compared with set points and normal patterns.

4. Act

Alerts go out, pumps start or stop, and reports are ready for review.

Level sensors, water meters, pressure transmitters, water quality sensors and pump controllers connect to SCADA over Modbus RS485, over LoRa with the LRM-UNI3, or to the Amptronics cloud dashboard through the AMP-IoTG 4G gateway, which sends alerts and controls pumps

Sensors connect to your SCADA, PLC or BMS over Modbus RS485, across the site over a LoRa link, or to the cloud through a 4G gateway, so you can start with a few tanks and grow to the whole campus.
