1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of www.amptronics.com (the “website”), operated by Amptronics Systems Pvt. Ltd. (“Amptronics”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The supply of products, software and services is governed by the quotation, purchase order, sales agreement or service agreement for that supply. If those documents conflict with these terms, they take priority.

2. Using the website

You may use the website to learn about our products and solutions, download information and contact us. You agree not to:

• use the website in a way that breaks any law or regulation;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system, or interfere with its security;
• upload or send viruses, spam or any harmful or offensive material, including through our forms;
• copy or scrape the website’s content in bulk, or use it to build a competing product or catalogue;
• pretend to be someone else or give false information when you contact us.

We may suspend or restrict access to the website, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, for example for maintenance or if we believe these terms have been broken.

You may view, download and print pages and datasheets for your own business use, such as evaluating or specifying our products, as long as you keep any copyright and other notices. You may not modify, republish or use our content or trademarks for any other purpose without our written permission.

4. Product information and specifications

We try to keep product descriptions, specifications, images and datasheets accurate and up to date, but they are provided for general information. Products are improved over time and specifications may change without notice. Images and diagrams may be illustrative and may not show the exact product supplied.

Before you design our products into a system or place an order, please confirm the current specifications, ratings and compatibility with us. Prices, availability and delivery times are confirmed only in a written quotation.

5. Orders, warranty and support

Orders are accepted when we confirm them in writing. Payment, delivery, installation, warranty, returns and support terms are set out in our quotation, invoice, product documentation or agreement with you. Nothing on the website is an offer to sell that can be accepted simply by placing an order online.

6. Software, dashboards and cloud services

Access to our monitoring dashboards, mobile apps, firmware and cloud services is provided under a separate subscription or service agreement. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account, and you should tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

7. Safety and intended use

Many of our products are installed in or near live electrical equipment such as switchgear, panels, bus ducts and motors. They must be installed, commissioned and maintained only by qualified personnel, with the equipment safely isolated, and in line with the product documentation and applicable electrical codes and safety rules.

Our monitoring systems are tools that help you detect developing problems early. They do not replace protective devices, safety systems, routine inspection or good maintenance practice, and alerts depend on correct installation, configuration, power and communication links.

8. Third-party links and services

The website links to, and uses, services run by others, such as Google Maps and social networks. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

9. Disclaimer

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations about the website, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free of viruses, or that its content is complete, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. Technical content on the website is general guidance and is not a substitute for professional engineering advice for your installation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Amptronics is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, production, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the website or its content.

Our liability in connection with products and services we supply is set out in the agreement or terms for that supply. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Amptronics for any claims, losses or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise because you have broken these terms or misused the website.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data, and forms part of these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. The version published on the website when you use it applies to that use.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the website.

15. General

If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a group company or a successor to our business.
